Danish Festival 2010

   A monetary donation was sent to Greenville Danish Festival 2010 the week of 07/19/10 and Tommy Moose made an appearance in the parade.

  Downtown Greenville wasn’t the only busy place on Danish Festival Weekend. Our Moose Lodge was bustling with activities as well. Before the weekend began, some campers mysteriously began to appear in the back 40. Friday brought setup and a crew of volunteers began setting up the temporary fence from the back door to the horseshoe pits. Friday night was our traditional fish fry. Saturday morning began bright and early with a breakfast cooked by Junior Governor Tim Miller and Crew. Elsewhere on Saturday morning, Tommy Moose made an appearance at the Danish Festival Parade. He also appeared Saturday afternoon and evening during dinner. Saturday night dinner was a special AYCE Chicken and Ribs dinner. Saturday was finished off with a dance. Randy Garvey’s band “Out of Order” rocked! The night should have been called “Off The Hook” because it was a great time. Sunday morning was another breakfast, and Sunday afternoon was followed by a nap for all of our tired volunteers.
